Seon Spurlock joined UHPhealth in December 2020. Ms. Spurlock has been in the field of Social Work/Child Welfare for over 20 years. She has worked in the capacity of a Social Worker Servicing Children and families involved with Child Protective Services, substance abuse and at mental health agencies.
Due to Ms. Spurlock’s compassion and desire to help others, she believes in meeting them where they are in an effort to help you get where they would like to be. She is passionate about helping people gain insight and a sense of empowerment as they navigate the transition and challenges inherent in their life. Ms. Spurlock believes in creating a safe and open space for clients to deepen their awareness of themselves and others.
Ms. Spurlock received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University of Dominguez Hills, and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles. She also completed Certifications as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Grief Counseling Specialist.
